Cath Lab - Papua New Guinea

Premier Healthcare reached out to MELmed Electrical through some trusted industry contacts due to requiring a reputable organisation to assist in the installation of a GE Cardiac Cath Lab. This system had been decommissioned from a Victorian Hospital and kindly donated to Port Moresby General Hospital in Papua New Guinea.

The team at MELmed Electrical did not hesitate once when advised this would not only be the first installation of its type in a public hospital in Papua New Guinea, but would save many lives of otherwise underprivileged people that could not afford the cost of travelling offshore for procedures.

Under rather difficult circumstances being a remote location, Melmed Electrical and their team did an admiral job and delivered the first operational Cardiac Catheter Lad to a Public Hospital in Papua New Guinea.

Many of our people have now had life saving operations that would have financially and logistically previously been unachievable.

I would not hesitate in engaging MELmed Electrical for future projects and or recommending them for other organisations.

Being a medium sized Radiology provider, we were looking for a Company who could assist us with moving some existing equipment from one of our old clinics to a new recently built location. The team at MELmed were phenomenal from start to finish.

They assisted with planning, evaluating, electricals, certifications, logistics, de-installations and re-installations of most of our equipment. They were fairly priced and extremely easy to work with, adhering to all protocols and regulations.
